I’m so excited to be a part of the hop, skip jump blog hop to celebrate the release of Jamie Fingal’s new fabric line with RJR fabrics called “Hopscotch“!
Hopscotch is a playful tone on tone super blender line of fabrics based on a collection of hand drawn designs from Jamie’s sketchbooks. The colors are vibrant and saturated and so how could I resist when asked if I would create a quilt using some of the fabrics in this new line?!

“Bloom” is 18” x 18” and I created it exclusively with the Hopscotch fabric line using fusible raw edge appliqué with Mistyfuse fusible web. The flowers, leaves and the letters were cut using my Sizzix machine and the piece is machine quilted. I had a great time creating this project using this fabric line – it’s such a versatile set of of prints and colors and it’s a ton of fun to work with!
The Hopscotch fabric line has 83 different pieces in a rainbow of colors. It will release to stores in August 2017 and you can see all the prints and colors on the RJR Fabrics website here.
