Okay so last week wasn’t as productive in the studio as I would have liked it to be and I have to be honest, I got very little done.  I am hoping this week will show better results!  I haven’t just been sitting around though – here’s a few of the things that distracted me from working on my new quilt.

I met with Rebecca at Create! sewing studio in Acton MA which is not far from where I live and finalized a couple of dates to teach my new Text on Textiles art quilt workshop!  I am pretty excited about teaching at Create! – it’s a really well equipped space and students don’t even need to bring their own sewing machine.  I  will be teaching two sessions of the Text on Textiles workshop.  The class description is here on my website.

The cost to register for each session is $99 and there will be a $25 kit and materials fee due in class.  And here’s the best part – all you have to do is show up because all the supplies you need is included!

I spent a good amount of time updating the workshops section of my website and adding a few new workshop options.   I need to do some more updates to other sections of the site to freshen it up a bit – my home page and the general layout of the site is starting to feel a little stale so I will be working on that over the next week or so.

On my list of intentions this week…

I am going to make some progress on my new graffiti train quilt!

Put together a blog post with a tutorial on working with Bunny Paper (yup you read that right) – more on that later this week!
